when i was in middle school an anonymous facebook account with a death note avatar sent everyone in my class a list of who liked who and by the next day someone had told the teachers. they brought a printed out screenshot of the facebook message to class and asked who did it and for like a solid week everyone was accusing each other of being the person. it was fucking nuts and we never figured out who it was

honestly that highkey sounds like something i would have done at that age but instead i just sent the facebook account angry messages threatening them with legal action(?)
