pokemon has imo been consistently getting better since its inception and has been so successful bc it brings something new to the table with each new gen so i really can’t wrap my head around why they feel the need to pander so hard to gen 1 like. gen 1 is great but it’s so excruciatingly bland compared to literally everything that came after it and it’s like u guys realize the people you’re trying to appeal to haven’t played your games in 2 decades and don’t have any connection to the franchise except for occasionally circulating old memes on fb about how dumb it is that they made an ice cream pokemon like….please…give it a rest junichi gamefreak
