Hey y’all this week I got slapped with a 1500 bill from my old school after calling to inquire about some collections calls I’d been recieving (apparently no one back in florida BOTHERED to give me mail regarding the amount :)))))They kept harassing me about how much I could pay RIGHT NOW and now I owe a settlement of 1250 to be payed this week and next week.the problem is – I’m also moving in next week with @frostbytesdomain and must pay my prorated rent as well as the rent on the new place (plus a mover for big furniture). Everything is owed on 1st. That leaves very little room for my other bills and groceries

In addition here’s some clarification on the entire situation. 

the tldr; is I thought I was being scammed, I called the school, they confirmed that the collection agency calling me was fraudulent, then whipped right back and said “but you do owe us money so give it to us now”
