The entire class wonders if they experienced a mass hallucination. Some of them drop out, despite there only being another three weeks to go. Some of them go to the nurse, certain that they were delirious with fever.

But some of them. Some of them walk away from Chidi’s class thinking that the planned lesson on the destructive effects of nihilism was the most brilliant piece of teaching they’d ever seen.
