It bothers me that dragonair evolves into dragonite.

It’s as if a beautiful, powerful mermaid evolved into a child’s cuddly plush toy of Barney the dinosaur.

Dragonite could easily have been its own pokémon without pre-evolutions, and dragonair would have been just fine without the knowledge that it would eventually turn into a goofy sidekick from a knock-off Disney movie.

Honestly the chain really annoys me cos hell, Dratini is a kinda cute lil mermaid snek with big eyes of hope and lovely little snoot;

Which evolves into Dragonair, which is so graceful looking and gorgeous, a true beauty who is probably worshipped somewhere;

and then after that it apparently “evolves” into fucking orange dipshit with noodles for eyebrows and shitty little wings, why’s it now orange? Where has the horn gone? Where is its glorious head wing thingies? The little baubles on its tail and neck? ANY OF ITS GRACE WHATSOEVER???

Apparently it’s down to Dratini and Dragonair being like a snake, and then the final form of Dragonite is after its shed its skin hence the colour change…. but also it looks like a stumpy charizard and can just go away entirely.

Quick note the shinies look amazing and then Dragonite lets down the side for a second time.

Amazing.
