I’ve seen a post going around talking about sex trafficking and child abuse that starts “I work with 15 year old girls who are so brainwashed by their pimps.” If you see this post, please do not reblog it. The OP (@.aneurysmsandanalogues) is a TERF (her tagline says “radical feminist” and “woman born woman”) and considering that the post ends with her equating prostitution at all to child trafficking, I have no doubt she is also a SWERF. (Not adding this to the actual post because I don’t want her to get anymore attention or engage with her.)

There are much better ways to combat child abuse and sex trafficking. If you’re looking for some ways to support sex workers, you can donate to The Sex Workers Project, the Sex Workers Outreach Project-USA, or the Desiree Alliance. Remember: decriminalization and the fight against the stigma of sex work makes sex workers safer.
