@young transmascs if you have dysphoria PLEASE be careful around truscum. i know it’s scary being young and dysphoric and lost and that the entire world is telling you you’ll never be the man you want to be, and that it could be a great comfort to see all these trans men with such a goal in mind and community surrounding masculinity but please, please don’t fall for it. there’s nothing to be gained by emulating the strict social boundaries surrounding what it means to be an ‘acceptable’ man and they can and will turn on you the second you don’t conform to their ideal of what it means to be a man. they can and will turn on you the moment you open your heart to gnc trans people. they can and will turn on anyone who doesn’t conform their narrow definition of what it means to be trans, and any group who is alarmingly okay with misgendering and deciding someone else’s trans/cis status based on absolute bullshit is not a group that you should ever willingly be party to
