Awhile back one of my family pets Luey got sick and his health noticeably declined until we took him to the vet to try and figure out what was wrong. Following a couple of less than useful trips and some reading online we eventually got blood work done and found out that he’s our special diabetic little boy. After the new information coming to light we had to do a couple more visits and some weeks of insulin injections and are currently working out the best schedule of feeding and the right balance of insulin to give him. It’s been about a month and a half or so and he’s hanging in there pretty well, but it’s left a pretty deep cut in the house budget. With frequent trips to the vet, and multiple instances of pricey blood work stacking up we decided that it couldn’t hurt to open a go fund me page to try and get some donations to help pay off his bills. My mother and sister have also made posts about him on other social media like facebook and instagram, but it’s not getting a whole lot of exposure because no one has been sharing or spreading it. I understand that money is a bit tight all around currently, so if you aren’t able to donate then I would appreciate it with my whole heart if you could at least reblog this so it can get around to other people who might. I’m just gonna give this a morning reblog since I feel like the post was made during a poor time. I’d love for this to at least get some more reblogs that way it can spread around. This morning he has to make another trip to the vet’s because his pancreatic infection has flared up again, and needs support because he wont drink or eat. It’s the little things that count so if anyone can help in any way possible, even if it’s just more exposure please.
