I think its funny that everyone in gotham (the tv show) uses flip phones but all the other dc shows use smartphones and i get the feeling its nothing to do with budgets but everythin to do with dramatics cuz theres nothing dramatic in hanging up on a smartphone but closing a flip phone, u can do that dramatically, so i think this furthers the theory that the ppl of gotham are dramatic af and will do anything to show that, including not upgrading to much better phone tech

Also the time in which gotham takes place is supposed to be ambiguous, like the 1930’s and 2007 had a baby
