ok so that. that mcelroy culture in hogwarts post i made is Almost @ 1k notes so i thought id, post some more silly hcs here for the ones tht Liked That? this gets its own post bc i want!! ppl to see it and rbs dont show up in tags so

these r a little less thought out than the originals but:

muggleborns naming their owls silly things like taako, their muggle friends sigh exasperated “you named your fucking owl taco???”

the “SEVEN PARROTS” bit but with owls OR frogs thats all i gotta say

disarming monster factory-esque nicknames given to horrifying monsters, the blastended skrewt is referred to solely as “HOTBOY” 

one kid has a bird named ms beakman and they dont expect anyone to get it but their roommate loses their fucking mind and they find a way to bingewatch griffins nuzlocke that night

halfbloods getting their magic parent to help them animate their fucking taz fanart to tweet at the boys over their break 

muggleborns and halfbloods constantly referring to everything as fantasy [blank] and purebloods who arent In on it and teachers are so annoyed all the way until they graduate

in year 1 none of the purebloods have any idea what the fuck any of this is but by year 3 at least half of them have mastered the taako voice and at least one has joked “if i ever become a death eater im taming one of those spiders in the forest and being magic brian but in real life” and then pauses and adds a little more seriously “i might do that anyway”

certain wizards getting their parents to enchant their umbrellas or their robes for their taako/lup/barry cosplays

[young muggleborn, hanging upside down from a broom that is spinning wildly] IM GONNA Y A R T Z

all the teachers just so fucking befuddled by all these weird new speech patterns??? why do they call everything an [adjective] boy, whats with these weird cadences, Who is Magic Brian And Why Does Everyone Want To Be Him
